The Vedic Square
Patterns can be created from numbers. The Vedic Square is formed on a 9-by-9 grid, with the products of the numbers in the top row and left column placed at each intersection point. When the product exceeds 9, the two digits are added to form a single digit. The completed square exhibits many patterns, such as that formed by the sevens and ones, which can be transformed into other patterns.

Im a final year architecture student currently doing my research thesis on city forms and the process of change.
I've taken the case of Bhopal as a city. It was based on vastu purusha model, and therefore the canonical square shaped plan.
What i would like to know more about is the vastu influence on a larger city planning/developing level. Ive read couple of books but i cant find answers i could relate directly to the situation in Bhopal. Also state and national records have no records of this vastu based settlement of early 11th century.
